Over the next 3 years we aim to further consolidate our BankTech leadership position by expanding services as we all as market expansion/scale across US and Europe regions and leadership investments in digital engineering.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Key competencies:

    • Proven track record of leadership in regulatory reporting consulting, preferably at a partner or director level.
    • Experience in building business solutions around the banking regulatory (for Regtech, Fintech or banking products) and taking the solutions into developed markets.
    • Experience in having delivered in leading products in the banking regulatory space across those streams- Wolters Kluwer, Axiom SL, ComplyAdvantage, Refinitiv, Oracle FCCM, Lexis Nexis FCC, Accuity, SAS AML, Nice Actimize.
    • Exposure to aligned areas like CFTC, EMIR, SFTR, MiFID II, Risk- Basel III/IV, Financial guidelines such as IFRS.
    • Having been a product owner for regulatory solutions in the above streams.
    • Ability to consult and provide solutions in the above streams.
    • Ability to manage a team of Technology Business Analyst in the regulatory streams.
    • Expertise in tech-stacks, including ETL, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools, used in regulatory reporting.
    • Understanding of data flow processes and advanced data analytics techniques.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational background in engineering, complemented by a business degree from a tier 1 business institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in advisory services for regulatory reporting in the BFSI sector.
  • Minimum 18 years of experience in the IT services industry.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in driving delivery engagements, consulting engagements, report creation and thought leadership in regulatory space.
  • Experience in providing strategic advisory services to federal and regulatory compliance agencies in UK and US will be an added advantage.

OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE PERSON:

  • Business Building and Accountability: Take accountability for engaging with customers and closing deals for the RegTech practice, to achieve an annual revenue run rate of $25 million within 36 months. Partner in business development initiatives to support achievement of above goals. Ensure all contracts yield gross-margins, and EBITA as targeted by CFO.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership for the advisory practice, shaping the trajectory in alignment with dynamic regulatory changes in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union as well as lead the development and execution of regulatory reporting strategies for clients in retail, wealth management, and corporate banking.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to banking clients, tailoring solutions to address their unique regulatory reporting and lead client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality advisory services that navigate the complexities of diverse regulatory landscapes.
  • US regulatory expertise: Stay abreast of federal regulatory requirements affecting the banking sector covering Federal Reserve regulations, such as Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR).
  • UK regulatory frameworks: Monitor UK regulatory frameworks from the Bank of England, including Solvency II for insurance companies, and EU regulations, such as FInRep, Corep, MiFID II, BIRD etc.
  • Platform Proficiency and Technology Stacks: Showcase expertise and guide clients in leveraging regulatory reporting platforms such as Axiom, Wolters Kluwers as well as specific technology stacks, including ETL, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools, to streamline regulatory reporting processes and enhance compliance efficiency.
  • Data Flow Management: Review the data flow processes, and arrive at ways of ensuring accuracy, completeness, and security in regulatory reporting. Design and implement advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Team Management: Build and lead a team of regulatory reporting professionals, competent product managers and solution specialists with a focus on the banking sector. Foster a collaborative team culture and provide mentorship to team members.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new advisory engagements within the banking sector, showcasing expertise in diverse regulatory environments. Collaborate with the business development team in proposal development and client presentations. Develop a compelling go to market kit inclusive of detailed use cases with key differentiators, ready to demo solutions, blueprints, whitepapers, investment notes etc.
  • Solutioning: Accountable for validating solution-market fit at 3 stages – Use case stage – Scope / Repeatability / Scale, Solution blueprint stage & Finished MVP stage
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to industry thought leadership by publishing articles, participating in conferences, and engaging in relevant professional networks within the banking sector.
