A pioneering IT entrepreneur, Mr. Jain has been instrumental in driving growth and innovation across delivery of Financial Technologies for over 3 decades. Mr. Jain’s first venture was Nucleus Software in 1986, followed by Polaris Software Lab in 1993 which grew at a rate of over 100% CAGR in its first 7 years. His latest foray, built around the concept of Design Thinking, is Intellect Design Arena that provides Global Financial Platforms applying truly Digital Technologies. His commitment to Design Thinking is reflected in the creation of 8012 FinTech, the World’s first Design Center dedicated to Financial Technology and his flagship workshop on Design Thinking, UnMukt by SoDT, a School for Design Thinking. UnMukt provides an excellent opportunity to learn the basic tenets of Design Thinking & understand its applicability in today’s world of ever changing dynamics. Through SoDT, he conducts 10X workshops on innovative thinking for Start-Up entrepreneurs.
His contributions towards the community include Ullas Trust that has so far reached out to over 2,50,000 children from economically challenged sections of Government, Municipal and Aided Schools. Continuing his Social Connect initiatives, Arun has recently launched ‘Mission Samriddhi’. This initiative is dedicated to holistic human development in India, through the design and development of projects that are sustainable and capable of scale to positively impact the larger population.
Mr. Jain has been bestowed with numerous accolades including the ‘CII Lifetime Achievement Award’, ‘Lifetime Achievement Award at the Design Thinking Conclave & Awards 2018’, ‘Indo‐ASEAN Business Initiative Award’, ‘Pathfinders – Award for Excellence in IT & ITES recognized by Times Group’, ‘ICICI Venture – CII Connect Entrepreneur Award’, ‘Lions Clubs International award for Youth Empowerment’ etc. He holds/has held prestigious positions in Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madras Management Association (MMA), Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).
He has been a Director since inception of Maveric in 2000, guiding and supporting the company through multiple transformations in its journey.
Ranga is a co-founder and CEO of Maveric. Over the past two decades, he has been sharply focused on building Maveric as a domain-led BankTech specialist, driving technology transformation initiatives of global and regional banking leaders as well as Fintechs.
His efforts have made Maveric the tech partner of choice for global top 10 banks as well as banking leaders across Europe, Middle East, and APAC regions, with expansion across Continental Europe and US in progress. Maveric is strongly recognized for its banking credentials and differentiated talent with layered competency – banking domain and tech specialization supported by a culture of commitment.
Ranga started his professional life in management consulting. He has worked with organizations like World Bank, American Express, Reckitt and Coleman, Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Polaris Software, AT Kearney, NDDB, and the Government of India for close to 15 years in the areas of business strategy, people management, change management and transformational leadership.
N.N.Subramanian (Subbu) is a co-founder and COO at Maveric Systems. Over the last 2 decades at Maveric, he has been closely associated with supporting over 100 banks through the transformation of their core and satellite systems. Subbu is focusing on enabling scalability of operations and establishing governance processes for each of the strategic initiatives & descriptors of our 2025 strategy.
In his role as COO, Subbu leads talent acquisition strategies and drives integrated enterprise automation that enables scalability across functions and locations. Subbu also ensures alignment of business units to account acquisition structure, besides being responsible for IT infrastructure, quality management processes and facilities.
Subbu has more than 30 years of professional experience across the fields of business development and management consulting. Before Maveric, he was a management consultant with Eicher Consultancy Services and Proact Management Consulting (a consulting firm that he co-founded). His main area of work was quality in service organizations. He has done his postgraduate diploma in management from the Management Development Institute.
Mahesh is a co-founder and director at Maveric. In his role, he singularly focuses on strategizing and driving growth across our strategic banking customers. He provides the robust leadership and blueprint for aligning our high-demand business units and services to create contextualized solutions that address key CXO level challenges across our strategic customers.
With over 22 years of experience in the IT industry in the area of solutions design, delivery, and quality, Mahesh has a wide range of experience in delivering complex testing solutions to clients in Europe and the US through innovative models of offshore and onsite service delivery. He has also been instrumental in building and scaling the telecom vertical organically at Maveric.
Prior to joining Maveric, he founded Adarsh Technologies, an IT solutions company which catered to clients in the retail segment in the US, and provided solutions for co-operative banks in India. Mahesh started his career with Infosys Technologies and AF Ferguson.
P. Venkatesh, more commonly known as PV, is a co-founder of Maveric systems. He leads the Core banking business globally, which at this time has aligned with Temenos. In the coming years, some fintech solutions preferred by banks would also be partnered for bringing greater value to the banks. He has been highly instrumental in advocating Temenos customers with strategic directions and roadmaps, by closely aligning with Temenos product strategy.
His passion for exploring and dealing with disruptive banking technologies sets him apart as banking thought leader. PV, with his team of solution architects and domain specialists, was instrumental in envisioning and successfully launching AssureHawkTM, the first of its kind automated specifications generating a platform for Temenos. Under his leadership, his team has rolled-out many significant customer value-added solutions for enhancing the Temenos application life-cycle.
PV has been a consultant and an entrepreneur for 30 years across diverse sectors, viz. banking, financial services, retail, government, and urban services. He is a subject-matter specialist in retail banking and regulatory compliance by his extensive work with banks across geographies. PV holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras and is a member of both “the Institute of chartered accountants of India and institute of cost and works accountants of India”.
A career technologist with an insatiable desire to drive greater value out of technology, Mr Sharma had a distinguished career at Citibank for nearly 3 decades, becoming the CIO for its
International Consumer Business division. He was instrumental in the successful technology transformation of the bank’s consumer banking operations across Asia Pacific – an initiative that
ultimately drove Citi’s global strategy to deliver advanced capabilities while maintaining common processes world over.
He continues to be passionate about emerging and disruptive technologies. In addition to being the CEO of a speciality finance startup that uses analytics and data insights to enable
democratized access to affordable credit to eligible consumers, he is also on the board and advisory panel of a select set of fintech startups in the areas of Big Data, Conversational AI and
Digital Disruption.
A Director since 2017, Mr. Sharma provides Maveric with valuable insights that drive new service initiatives aligned to the needs of the financial services sector in an increasingly digital
environment.
Dr TR Madan Mohan, is the Managing Partner of Browne & Mohan a business transformation consulting firm and an independent director on the Board of Maveric systems.
Dr Mohan has been associated with Frost & Sullivan, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Eric Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Canada and Brisbane Graduate School of Business, Queensland University of Technology, Australia. A founding member of the NASSCOM Product forum, Dr. Mohan sits on advisory and independent director roles for multiple software companies.
Parthasarathy is a demonstrated finance professional with over 25 years’ experience in the area of Business Performance Improvement, Enterprise Risk Management and Process Control Reviews. He has advised clients in the area of Cost Control, Off-shoring Strategy, Sarbanes Oxley readiness and ERP implementations.
He is currently Partner at RGN Price & Co. Prior to joining RGN Price & Co., he was leading the Risk Advisory Practice at PwC, Chennai. He has worked with the Big 4 consulting firms for close to a decade working for global clients with cross cultural teams.
He was President of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Madras Chapter during 2013-14 and now an active Board member of IIA Madras and IIA, India. He has also co-authored an audit guide (GTAG-7) – Information Technology Outsourcing Audit, which was published by the Institute of Internal Auditors, Florida.
He has been grafted to the Board to provide guidance on governance, risk and compliance as well as to chair the audit committee.
Leadership Team
Venkatraman GS has over 30 years of industry experience across all facets of Finance function. He has worked with renowned organizations like Subex, Mindtree, Accenture, Wipro and Pepsi in the past, and has experience in the areas of Business Finance, Financial Reporting, Business Planning, Management Reporting and Enterprise Risk Management.
As a CFO at Subex, he has been instrumental in leading and successfully completing the capital reduction of Subex which has led to significant shareholder wealth creation – the market cap of Subex has moved from ~ INR 325 Crore in November 2018 to over INR 3000 Crore in 2021.
At Mindtree in addition to wearing the hat of financial controller, he was also the first chief risk officer responsible for conceptualizing, setting up, the Enterprise Risk Management function and leading the Business Finance function. Mindtree won the CNBC TV 18 – ICICI Lombard India Risk award, Technology firm of the year 2015-16, under his stewardship as the Chief Risk Officer.
He has been recognized as among the top 100 CFOs for 2021 by CFO India, under “Innovation in Finance” category. He has been a part of the CII Economic Affairs Committee, Karnataka as well as the Economic Affairs Committee of BCIC, Karnataka. He continues to actively participate in various discussions as a speaker/ panelists in the Finance domain in CII, BCIC, CFO Engage, and other such forums.
Mahadevan V (Maha) is director of sales and strategic relationships at Maveric. In this role, he works closely with the Top 50 global banks to generate long term annuity business, integrate multiple service offerings and make Maveric the Preferred Global Technology Transformation Partner for banking leaders.
In a career spanning 12 years at Maveric, Maha has been instrumental in forging strategic relationships with global banking leaders and expanding our engagement foot print across multiple locations. He has also been leading the business development teams to drive growth across UK and Europe. He envisions Maveric becoming a truly global brand that is active across various lines of business with an ability to address transformation challenges.
Prior to Maveric, Maha worked with Polaris Software as Senior Vice-President & Head of Strategic Business Unit. His 15-year stint at Polaris included managing large outsourcing projects in BFS with clients like Citibank, Deutsche Leasing, NEC Corporation and Shinsei Bank. The initial years of his career also saw him play a key role as project leader in Aparajitha Technologies and Ultra Business Machines Pvt Ltd. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from University of Madras.
A hands-on technologist, Muralee has been credited with building and transforming cutting edge, scalable IT products and platforms for finance and retail leaders across US, UK and India. Muralee’s 24 years’ experience includes large scale transformation of North America’s second largest mortgage servicing platform and leading online application performance for the second largest e-commerce destination in UK, to name a few. Prior to Maveric, he has been leading technology initiatives across global leaders like Tesco and Altisource as well as start-up ventures such Analyttica Datalabs & Clairvolex IP. Muralee’s guides many startups through Ganitham Lab, and focusses on helping organizations build and scale products and IP using new age technologies.
Lars is Sales Director, leading European sales function at Maveric. In this role, he specifically focuses on expanding our footprint in Benelux and Nordic regions through new logo acquisition as well as building an impactful sales organization. With his extensive business domain knowledge as well as networks in Nordics and Benelux, he drives our business development ambition and aligns our organization to successfully deliver high value to our customers in interesting and challenging projects.
Prior to Maveric, Lars was the VP Business Development, Nordics at Sigma Software. He was the first Nordic employee of HCL and has been involved in successful New Logo/New Business development competing with local incumbent contenders and preferred partners by demonstrating Indian value delivery.
Lars has over 30 years of industry experience across all facets of IT, Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance. He has worked with renowned organizations like TCS, HCL, HP, Logical (CGI), and TietoEVRY in the past, and has experience in all areas from Core Banking systems, Payments, Infrastructure to Datacenters. He has been instrumental in building impactful sales organizations for PE companies and successfully enabled the rapid growth of recurring revenue which has led to substantial shareholder value.
Harish leads the Corporate Human Resource (HR) function at Maveric. In this role, he focusses on initiatives around HR strategy, HR transformation, employee engagement and talent development.
He has over 27 years of rich, diversified industry experience across multiple functions in HR ranging from staffing & retention, talent management, cross cultural management, business transformation, to building leadership teams and setting up sustainable processes. Harish has a strong background in high growth as well as start-up environments and has been credited with establishing organization wide practices to nurture healthy employee engagement and proactive employee relations strategy.
Prior to Maveric, for over 6 years, he was driving leadership development initiatives with leading organizations by way of his own consulting practice called Exemplary People. Further, he has been associated with a leading boutique law firm BCP Associates with a focus on employee relations and people strategy at Bangalore.
He has donned the leadership mantle in organizations like Adecco, Thomson Reuters, Dell, GE and the Taj Group of Hotels in his earlier career, enabling him build strong expertise across multiple facets of HR. He also plays an advisory role in leading universities like Manipal Academy for Higher Education, Institute of Public Enterprise & Wellingkar School of Management
With over 18 years of experience in the BFSI and retail sectors with specific focus on end-to-end delivery, managed test services, Kishan Sundar leads the Digital business unit at Maveric. He spearheads digital design thinking, strategises customer experience testing frameworks and manages next gen digital solutions.
Sunil is a key member of the business governance and steers the execution of the business unit’s strategy. It includes the service, market and the pricing strategies. He is also involved in nurturing the partnership with Temenos to steer Maveric as a key global partner for them.
He lays down the policies, practices and milestones for the delivery including on the adoption of new technologies, development of accelerators and building key differentiator for the services and also sales, especially given the focus on the developed markets such as Europe and US.
As an integral part of Maveric’s core leadership team for the past 15 years, Sunil has led many diverse leadership roles across sales, operations, talent management and delivery functions.
Sunil has a Master’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Finance and is a graduate in Commerce from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
Aravind is a Senior Vice President in the Quality Engineering (QE) Business at Maveric. He chairs the QE Business Steering Group that drives Maveric’s QE Business. Aravind has been with Maveric since 2002 and has played roles in delivery leadership and business leadership across functions. In his current role, he is responsible for strategizing and delivering QE services globally across our various QE clusters. He provides leadership and direction to delivery management, innovation, human capital and project management teams of QE business. Aravind’s team focuses on devising and proposing contextual solutions that drive our customer’s QE transformation journey – backed by appropriate specializations, tool sets, frameworks, accelerated methods and matured processes.
Aravind holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce and Master’s in Computer Application and has deep experience in driving technology adoption programs at leading banking and financial institutions across Europe, Middle-East, Americas and APAC.
Krishnakumar Ranganathan (KK) is Senior Vice President at Maveric NXT and Account Partner for Strategic Accounts in North America. He partners closely with all client stakeholders across various across Data, Digital and QE to ensure maximum customer impact. Being a key stakeholder in expanding Maveric’s presence in the North American region he also manages US operations.
Anand is one of the key leadership members of Temenos business unit. He leads and manages the Temenos relationship globally. Additionally, he also steers and directs the joint go-to market solutions with Temenos.
He has more than 23 years of experience in the banking technology world. In his previous role, he was associated with Wibmo which got acquired by PayU recently, where he was heading the payment authentication business.
Anand has a diverse working experience in the banking industry under various IT roles such as program management, product selection, infrastructure management and digital channel launch, maintenance and support. He has also been instrumental in building implementation teams on Misys suite- Summit, Opics, LoanIQ and Bankfusion Essence, Avaloq and D&H- Fundtech. He also has considerable experience in the cards and payments segment having worked with all the major card providers such as AMEX/Visa/Mastercard as well as SBI cards.
Shankar Ganesh is the Senior Vice President for Enterprise Data Management at Maveric. As a key leader within the Datatech Business Unit, he and his team are working towards a domain centric data and analytics center of excellence (COE) for Banking.
He has more than two decades of experience working in different roles. In his previous role, he was heading the Big Data and Cloud Initiatives across the GE Business. He was instrumental in setting up the data platforms on cloud and data engineering & analytics team across US, Hungary and India.
Prior to GE, he was managing the ERP – financial and Sourcing Practice within TCS. He has worked with many large corporate clients in establishing their global ERP footprint while working at TCS.
As Head of Talent Strategy at Maveric, Rajiv is accountable for direction setting and governance of talent acquisition function at Maveric. He focuses on building a talent supply chain that strikes the balance across our requirements – Hire & Nurture, campus & rookie, lateral as well as contract staffing. Rajiv is also responsible for partnering with business units and delivering talent as per timelines, fine-tuning our talent acquisition structure, controlling manpower costs through appropriate tuning of our talent strategy, talent branding, as well as driving key metrics in talent acquisition like cycle time, joining ratio, cost per hire, etc.
With over 25 years of industry experience in talent acquisition, Rajiv has worked with organizations like HCL, Thought focus, Dell, ANZ Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Legato in the past. With exposure to global clientele, Rajiv has experience working in India, Singapore, and London. He was named in the list of Top 10 strategy officers by CEO Insights Forum, 2021-2022.
