Associate Vice President - Application Maintenance Services

We’re currently seeking an Associate Vice President – Application Maintenance Services (AMS), a seasoned professional to play a central role in championing the success of our newly established Application Maintenance Services (AMS) Business Unit, broadly handling responsibility for developing & executing a strategic vision, conceptualising & executing GTM strategy, driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and partnering with key ecosystem players.

Preferred location would be Chennai or Bengaluru as a second choice.

Key Competencies:

    • Ability to understand and define customer expectations.
    • Demonstrated expertise in driving customer/prospect communication, areas including presales, customer support and content writing (client responses).
    • Good experience in AMS Estimation Models.
    • Deep exposure to AMS tools, processes, and frameworks.
    • Demonstrated expertise in building AMS solutions.
    • Hands-on experience in Selling & Delivering AMS engagements.
    • Knowledge in conceptualising and driving CI Initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:

    • 18+ years of IT Application Support with combination of delivery, presales, solutioning and consulting experience.
    • Experience in Service delivery of applications portfolio with legacy and distributed technologies.
    • Good understanding of Banking (Financial Services) domain.
    • Must have experience working in end-to-end Managed Services deals, including but not limited to AMS, AMS+
    • Prior experience in presales/solution creation.
    • Should have anchored mid to large AMS deals (5 – 10 million USD) ACV.
    • Strong background in ITIL, Service Management Processes.
    • Excellent presentation / negotiation skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
    • Exposure to business development is preferred.
    • Broad understanding in technology.

Our Expectations:

  • Would be responsible for selling & delivering mid to large scale AMS engagements.
  • Should have good experience of arriving at AMS transformation solutions and Cost benefit proposition to clients.
  • Must have been part of due diligence teams as a solution architect for large deals.
  • Expert level knowledge in AMS Estimation models, ITIL Processes, Continuous Service Improvements, Pricing models, and ITSM tools.
  • Must have experience working in a pre-sales function responding to RFI, RFP, and Proactive proposals.
  • Experience of Ticket analysis and identification of ticket patterns.
  • Desirable to have good understanding of latest AMS trends like DevOps, SRE concepts.
  • Design ownership of end-to-end solution to develop the solution blueprint including transformation roadmap.
  • Continuously work on deal differentiators and strategies that will help the team in increasing the win ratio and prepare specific silver bullets against key competitors.
  • Solutioning AMS for IT Outsourcing deals and designing the service delivery framework based on customer requirements.
  • Create optimized operating support models.
  • Ensuring financial health of AMS business.
