Service Line Head - Application Maintenance Services (AMS)

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Application Maintenance Services practice specifically tailored to the banking sector. He/She will be responsible for driving top-line growth, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and using AI and Machine Learning to optimize banking business processes.
We are looking for a leader who seeks to change how banks are doing application maintenance and reimagine their portfolio as well as their operating models.
This role requires extensive experience in the banking domain, a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities, and a proven track record of utilizing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Experience with architecting, designing, developing or supporting solutions around Banking specific COTS/SaaS would be necessary for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership:

- Define, Refine and Execute a comprehensive strategy to drive top-line growth and expand market share.
- Provide leadership to the team, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Continuously work on deal differentiators and strategies that will help increasing the win ratio and prepare specific silver bullets against key competitors
- Business Development:

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Expert level knowledge in AMS Estimation models, ITIL Processes, Continuous Service Improvements, Pricing models, and ITSM tools
- Lead Deal Pursuits to closure.
- Service Delivery Excellence:

- Reimagine service delivery to cater to a bank’s digital transformation.
- Implement best practices, tools and processes to optimize application maintenance services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Knowledge in conceptualising and driving CI Initiatives
- Banking Domain Expertise:

- Anticipate industry trends, shape client opinions and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Stay abreast of security challenges, regulatory changes, market dynamics, and emerging technologies impacting the banking sector.
- Technology Innovation:

- Harness the power of AI and Machine Learning to transform banking business processes, drive automation, and enhance total end-customer experience, not just from a UX perspective.
- Design and ownership of solutions. Develop solution blueprints, including transformation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop and implement innovative solutions tailored to banking clients.
- Team Development:

- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15-20 years of experience in the banking sector, with a focus on application maintenance services.
- Ability to drive top-line growth
- Deep understanding of banking business processes, regulations, and industry trends.
- Experience leveraging AI/Machine Learning and SRE to optimize business processes, preferably outside of ITIL
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
