Since the start of the pandemic, we had been focused on the following to ensure business continuity
Multi-layered support and associate engagement initiatives across various regions,
Investments into and adoption of industry leading IT infrastructure and security platforms,
Swift reengineering of delivery approach, and
Heightened focus on client engagement and reporting.
Effective and speedy execution of these initiatives have tremendously increased customer and associate confidence.
Associate Safety and Well being
Early on, we assessed the strategic needs for onsite leadership and ensured that no critical resources are brought back to India. We also decided that we will be doing Work From Home till end of August, with only select individuals from critical projects and functions like IT, Admin and Finance working from office, that too with prior approvals.
Subsequently, we decided that Work from office will be entertained after fully providing for associate safety, only when there is specific client request or when associate-end connectivity / security is hindering delivery impact.
Our ongoing measures that strengthen associate safety and well-being include the following
Institutionalization of daily wellness check ins of all associates to ensure associate health and productive engagement
Augmented health insurance access for onsite and offshore associates backed by identification of facilities for COVID assistance
Consistent monitoring of the situation by our core team of leaders to analyse risk to associates with appropriate contingency plans
Weekly regional catchups for consistent associate communication covering updates on government, health and travel advisory, medical center contacts, local as well as global helpdesk contacts as well as regional leadership SPOCs.
Upskilling and productive engagement for the associates on bench across various businesses through project shadowing, internal projects and high-touch training.
IT Infrastructure and Security Investments
By strengthening investments in core IT infrastructure – network and server capacity as well as security, and implementation of automated systems for ensuring availability with the ability to scale up 25% at any point in time, we have institutionalized remote working across all associates.
Security controls
- Endpoint devices enabled with advance EDR, ATP, Anti, Phishing, Encryption and DLP solutions to ensure secure remote working (data privacy and infosec controls)
- End point security augmentation by EDR (End point Detection and Remediation) through Cisco AMP and Umbrella platforms
- Strong device identification based on 20 parameters includes CPUID, MBID, HDDID, MACID.
- Built in DLP mechanism with added layer of security over & above installed McAfee DLP layer.
Governance and Audits
- Fortinet Analyzer to monitor live traffic, application usage & address, prevent anomalies.
- SolarWinds, PRTG to monitor VPN traffic & usage.
- DLP logs monitored based on keyword driven approach & accordingly alerted/notified to the Infosec team.
- Notifications/Alerts triggered in case of breaching thresold limit for servers, Firewall & Switches
