Corporate Social Responsibility

At Maveric, we increase our positive social impact by addressing the critical social and environmental needs of the downtrodden sections of society. Empowering communities by connecting people to opportunities in the digital economy directly contributes to equitable, sustainable, and inclusive pathways for the underprivileged and differently-abled.

Beyond philanthropism, CSR@Maveric aims to create generational improvement at a person, community, and regional level, thereby creating large-scale social impact.

Maveric’s CSR Committee comprises the following Board members:

Areas of Intervention

Our CSR policy leverages the best of Maveric – intellectual, human, technology, and financial capabilities to contribute or adopt projects in the following areas of intervention defined in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013:

  • Health and Education of underprivileged / physically challenged children,
  • Ensuring environmental sustainability,
  • Promoting education,
  • Other activities defined in Schedule VII as may be identified in future by the CSR Committee

 

CSR@Maveric Mode

As a global technology innovator, Maveric’s CSR goal is to develop and implement programs that create equity and access to opportunities through:

  • Focused Programs – Dedicated personnel run and evaluate SMART programs.
  • Care – Empathetic engagement with selfless dedication offered by the NGO volunteers.
  • Technical Expertise – NGOs backed by a team with tech. Expertise. Funding is routed for operations, salaries, and technical equipment.

 

Strategic Focus Areas and Progress Map

By prioritizing focus on education, sustainable livelihoods, rehabilitation, rural development, special education, and early intervention, Maveric helps people and communities bridge the opportunity gap. At Maveric, the Internal Employees CSR Committee evaluates the NGOs list and records findings for the CSR Committee. Based on a detailed understanding, the CSR Committee proposes annual action plan and CSR budget. Consequently, ongoing projects are reviewed, volunteers and new projects with CSR funding are finalized.

Activities Summary

  1. Akshaya
    A non-profit initiative devoted to the rehabilitation – physical, emotional, social, and economic – of the differently abled, Akshaya is registered under Tamil Nadu Societies Act.
    Maveric’s CSR team aims to provide financial assistance to the differently – abled students to enable them to pursue higher education.

  1. Swami Vivekananda Rural Development society (Single Teacher Schools)
    Founded in 2006 under the Swami Vivekananda Rural Development Society, Single Teacher Schools (STS) aim to provide quality supplementary primary education to the poorest children in remote villages, emphasizing culture, tradition, and moral values. Their holistic approach enhances learning skills and functional literacy, nurturing well-rounded development up to Class V. CSR@Maveric is focussed to impart quality education to school children in remote villages & offering training for teachers.

  1. Bhumi
    Founded in 2006, BHUMI is an Indian NGO committed to promoting education, community welfare, and environmental conservation with a focus on transforming education. Maveric partners with BHUMI to enhance educational opportunities for underprivileged children & college students, supporting model school programs and to engage in sustainability initiatives through various volunteering efforts.

  1. Vidya Sagar
    Vidya Sagar, a Tamil Nadu-based NGO with 38 years of experience, empowers individuals with disabilities through comprehensive services, education, therapy, vocational training, and advocacy for disability rights. Maveric’s CSR team is dedicated to enhancing rehabilitation services by focusing on Special Education and Teacher Training through targeted programs and internship opportunities.

  1. Team Everest
    Founded in 2006, Team Everest is a vibrant community of volunteers dedicated to provide quality education to financially challenged children. Maveric collaborates with Team Everest to focus on education-based volunteering opportunities, offering career guidance, motivation sessions, and vocational training to empower underprivileged students in government schools students and college students.
