Ø  Forward Plan the release windows and cycles

Ø  Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

Ø  Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered

Ø  Capture demands for the test environment booking and release

Ø  Provide clear view of environment availability and forecast

Ø  Continually work towards making improvements in the release process

Ø  Participate and present releases in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings

Ø  Lead impact evaluation on basis of project date changes and convey results

Ø  Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams across GCC Central Banks, GPC and other vendors at different locations

Ø  Communicate release details and schedules to the Business & PMO teams as required

Quality Checks

Ø  Facilitate testing for Central banks/commerical banks in test environment of AFAQ (GCC RTGS) through collecting the environment demand requests, allocate the test environment and govern the test management process

Ø  Facilitate the necessary sign off from GPC-Operations team for the test closure reports

Ø  Ensure all the identified defects are well managed and tracked to closure by coordinating with GPC IT, GPC-Infra, GPC-Operations, CMA & IT teams of central banks.

Ø  Ensure all the changes in the test environment are tested by GPC internal testing team and application is working fine

Ø  Limit environment related issues leading to better quality

Deployment

Ø  Define and agree KPIs with the Test environment support team for environment refresh, housekeeping etc.,

Ø  Prepare and present periodical reports on test environment and test management activities to GPC stakeholders

Ø  Track and Manage all release activities in test environment and ensure gap between production and test environment is minimal and well documented

Ø  Baseline all Environments related information and technical spec

Ø  Help cross-program planning to oversee dependencies and manage conflicts.

Ø  In corporate process improvement across planning, quality check and deployment based on  lessons learnt

Ø  Based on service request backlog, pending service requests and third party applications, Co-ordinate with teams responsible for releases, configuration management and incident management
