Maveric’s CSR Initiative
At Maveric, we believe in creating and sustaining sincere relationships across all spheres of our activity – be it our customers, employee, vendors, or the society at large. As our CEO likes to quote, “who you are with on the bus is more important than where the bus is going”. and And therefore, enabling real change at the ground level through deep and meaningful engagement with various communities forms the corner stone of our CSR initiatives.
To be a responsible industry leader and demonstrate environmental, transparent and ethical business practices which contribute to the economic and sustainable development within the company, industry, and the society.
We follow an all-inclusive approach towards addressing critical social and economic needs of the underprivileged and downtrodden sections of the society, by integrating the answers to these issues into our company’s very strategies. . Our hands-on approach works towards applying the knowledge and expertise of our employees to develop effective solutions to such problems. We empower our employees to do what is right and extend our CSR programs for their active participation. Our policy includes contributing to or adopting projects as defined in Schedule VII of the Companies Act.
Some of the key engagements that we have undertaken towards our CSR objective include the following:
- Single Teacher Schools unit of Swami Vivekananda Rural Development Society, for the noble cause of upliftment of the society mainly through quality, supplementary out of school education. The ongoing program is geared towards pruning the method of education, training sessions for teachers and other activities like medical camps, eye camps, Swachh Bharat initiatives, etc.
- Bhumi, one of India’s largest volunteer organizations that seeks to drive social change by fostering an environment where young adults & children learn, lead and thrive. Our aim is not only contribute towards their cause, but also encourage Maverics to get involved in volunteering in animal welfare, community welfare, disability, environment, health etc.
- Akshaya, an initiative dedicated to the rehabilitation – physical, emotional, social and economic – of the differently abled.
